The brief was to develop a logo, brand identity, and packaging for their debut product, ‘Cream of Rice’, launching with four initial flavours: Salted Caramel, Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups, Deluxe Chocolate, and Vanilla.
Using Adobe Illustrator, I designed the front, back, and bottom of the label to the specified dimensions. I began with the typography, then developed the branding around it. The client requested a vibrant, eye-catching look—something that would stand out on a store shelf. Here is an example below.
Once the initial flavour design was approved by the client, I moved on to developing the remaining flavours, ensuring each aligned with the core branding. I adapted the colour palette, imagery, and flavour-specific typography to give each variant its own distinct personality while maintaining consistency across the range.
The client was thrilled with the final designs, which are now printed, packaged, and ready to ship to customers worldwide. Early customer feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with many describing it as the most vibrant product they've ever seen—looking just as good as it tastes.
